CMAX Including Forceplate

CMAX Including Forceplate

Extremely easy to use clinical gait analysis for rehab purposes
CMAX is a turnkey solution for 2 dimensional gait analyses. This complete solution for video gait analysis is especially developed to use in a clinical setting and contains hardware as well as software. The combination of the hardware (video, force plate and potential EMG) ensures that the required data for gait analysis can be collected, while the software combines all the data and contains some tools for easy analysis. Gait analysis is mainly used in rehabilitation and orthopedics to evaluate gait, determine the best treatment and evaluate the treatment.
The system is optimally designed for 2D video gait analysis of human lower extremities and trunk for e.g.

children with cerebral palsy
people with acquired brain impairment like CVA / stroke
neuromuscular diseases like Polyomelites, Multiple sclerosis, Duchenne disease etc.
fitting of ortheses and protheses

The system contains:

workstation with large LCD screen, keyboard and mouse
pre-installed software
licenses
cables
frontal: first camera with lens and tripod or wallmount
sagital: second camera with lens and tripod or wallmount
forceplate
calibration frame

The system can be easily extended and synchronised with an additional camera, EMG and an additional forceplate.

Support

Q - I would like to view MOX format video's without having to buy CMAX

You can download CMAX viewer for free when you register at the lode website. Some time after registration you will receive an email that your registration has been processed. After that you can see the download under "support".

Q - Is the CMAX viewer compatible for moxie viewer files?

The CMAX viewer is compatible for mox files which are created in Cmax and SIMI,

Q - What is the minimal dimension for a gait lab with CMAX?

The minimal dimensions are 8m x 4m (for gait analysis in overground walking).

Q - What are the differences between 2D and 3D gait analysis?

2D gait analysis
Easy to use
Quick
Objective kinematics (less accurate as 3D)
Subjective analysis of joint moments
Calculation gait speed, step length, step width not integrated

3D gait analysis
Experience needed
Time consuming
Objective kinematics
Objective kinetics (joint moments & powers)
Calculation gait speed, step length, step width integrated
Expensive

Q - What are the minimal specs for a pc/laptop to run CMAX Viewer?

Minimum specs: windows 7, 4GB RAM, i7 processor, resolution of 1920x1080.

Q - Is it possible to have normalized EMG in CMAX?

Yes, EMG data can be analyzed as raw signals as well as normalized.

Q - Is it possible to have a second force plate in CMAX?

A second force plate is possible, but only from one force plate at the time the force vector can be shown. The M-wave is shown for both force plates.

Q - Are there norm values of the normalized EMG available in the CMAX software?

No, norm values of normalized EMG are currently not available in the software.

Q - How will the force plate data be presented in the CMAX software?

The force plate data will be presented as M-wave and as force vector.

Q - What is the maximum frame rate of the CMAX cameras?

The CMAX cameras have a maximum of 50 fps.

Q - Is it possible to compare between two CMAX recordings?

Yes, it possible to compare two recordings from the same trial as well as two recordings from different trials.
